Sometimes the greatest movements begin with the simplest act of saying “How can I help?”

For us it started with helping a family friend navigate one of his most difficult seasons. We believed we were solving one problem- finding safe housing. Instead, we uncovered something much greater.

We discovered that housing was only one piece of the puzzle.

Behind every request for a place to stay was a story. A veteran trying to rebuild after service. A survivor seeking safety. A senior living on a fixed income. An individual returning home after incarceration. A person working hard to overcome addiction. Families simply searching for stability.

What they all had in common wasn’t a lack of determination.

It was a lack of access.
